Google has rolled out its AI Pro plan free of cost for students in Pakistan and over 140 other countries, giving learners access to the advanced Gemini 2.5 Pro tools for a full year. This initiative is designed to support students with their academic work, writing tasks, and study prep through powerful AI features integrated across Google’s apps and services.
The AI Pro plan brings together Gemini, Google One, and NotebookLM, enabling students to complete assignments, create summaries, and generate study materials efficiently. With Deep Research, Gemini collects credible information from various sources and presents it in a well-cited, easy-to-digest format. The Guided Learning function is especially useful for breaking down complex topics step by step, helping students truly understand the material rather than just receiving instant answers.
What makes the offer even more appealing is its seamless integration with Gmail, Google Docs, and Slides. Students can receive writing assistance, generate outlines or presentations, and get AI-powered summaries directly within the tools they already use. Additionally, the plan comes with 2TB of Google One cloud storage, covering Google Drive and Photos, to ensure students have enough space for all their documents and projects.
In Pakistan, the offer is available to students aged 18 or older. Although Google has not announced an official deadline, posts on Reddit suggest that the free AI Pro plan will remain available until December 9, 2025. Students should act quickly to take advantage of this limited-time offer.
Some users reported a temporary charge of approximately Rs. 158 when linking a payment method, but noted that the amount was later refunded. Verification is handled via SheerID, and users must sign up using their personal Google account.
Google also confirmed that linking a payment method is optional, and reassured users that no personal data will be used to train AI models. The company emphasized its commitment to improving the AI Pro experience based on global user feedback as more students adopt the platform.
