In a forward-looking move to enhance financial inclusion through innovation and technology, Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PAK-EEF). This strategic partnership aims to digitize the scholarship fund disbursement process, ensuring seamless, transparent, and efficient financial support for students across the country.

The initiative is closely aligned with PAK-EEF’s mission of providing scholarships to bright, deserving students who face economic barriers in accessing higher education. By leveraging digital platforms, scholarship payments will now be transferred directly to beneficiaries, simplifying the process and broadening access for thousands of students nationwide.

At the MoU signing ceremony, Mr. Atif Ishaque, Chief Business Officer at Zindigi, shared his thoughts:

“Education is a cornerstone of national progress. Through this collaboration, we aim to ensure that financial aid reaches eligible students swiftly and securely, allowing them to concentrate on their academic journey and future growth, In Shaa Allah.”

Syeda Hajra Suhail, Chief Executive Officer of PAK-EEF, also acknowledged the significance of this partnership:

“Our collaboration with Zindigi marks a major shift toward a more digital, transparent future for educational funding in Pakistan. By embedding technology into our scholarship distribution system, we’re ensuring not just efficiency, but also that every rupee goes to the right student, right when they need it. PAK-EEF stays committed to bridging educational gaps and nurturing future leaders.”

Mr. Murad Shuaib Khan, Secretary of PEEF, further praised the collaboration, stating that digital disbursement serves as a benchmark for transparency and accountability, setting an example for other public sector initiatives.

This partnership underscores Zindigi’s vision of a digitally connected and financially inclusive Pakistan, particularly for the youth. Meanwhile, PAK-EEF continues to play a vital role in building the country’s human capital by enabling students from underprivileged communities to pursue their educational dreams.
